This week's guest is Logan Walden (@loganwaldenart). Logan is a painter and full time artist living near Cincinnati, Ohio. His style blends sci-fi art influenced by John Harris, Frank Frazetta and Moebius with the psychedelic and abstract contemporary art of the festival art world.
We goof off and improvise a lot in this episode so, for those who are looking for a bit of entertainment as well as inspiration this episode is for you. We get in to Logan's story about working in the film industry in L.A. and having to make a decision between having a job as a producer's assistant or starting his painting career. We also get in to Logan's early ventures in to throwing art shows, the value of mentors, the effect of getting compliments and criticisms, why he creates art and Logan's graphic novel in progress.
