This episode was inspired by a question from monkii Ernesto in The monkii Wild Facebook Group. He asks,

"I do have to ask monkii Dan did you really build your body primarily through bodyweight training? If not what fitness program did you use and what do you practice currently? I know you mentioned being a Wildman firefighter and wilderness ranger, is this where you developed your body? For myself, my goals are to be strong and functional first and foremost but a good-looking body is a plus!"

Reflecting back on my training history I have essentially 25 years of focused, intentional training. The 'results' did not happen overnight and are always in a state of flux. If you aren't consistent, it's just as easy to see reverse progress. The number 1 lesson I've learned is that consistency in training supersedes anything else. You have to show up every day and do the work. You DO NOT need to punish yourself every day, or even every week, but you HAVE to show up and DO.
