When we hear the word ethical used in a sentence it has a certain level of gravity. It is one that conjures up feelings of righteousness, morality, integrity and of purpose driven action and or responsibility. Simple to understand, and even easier to throw in a sentence, but what does it really mean? Is it a word, an image, or is it something that can only ever be applied in action?
I think over the coming years as purpose and the purpose economy continues to grow in momentum we will see a lot more people using the word ethical - talk about ethical sales, ethical marketing, ethical talent attraction or the creation of ethical products, but I also think for the consumers we will all have to really do our homework in every decision we make….because as the saying goes action is always louder than words.
However in a digital world it is often words or images that act as the click bait, making our job as purveyors of the internet even more important for the conscious evolution of our planet. The small choices we make matter more than ever and it's on us to decide how ethical a brand really is. Luckily for you...today I am honoured to not only showcase a truly ethical brand, but one that is breaking the status quo in an industry that in the past would never have been considered to be necessarily ethical.
