Josh Day has recently come back to the UK after an epic outdoors adventure. He cycled 26,000km all the way from the UK to Beijing in China!

Travelling through 28 countries, the route took him two years to complete.

Josh used to work in London as a data scientist but a few years ago he decided he needed a change of direction. He certainly got that!

Along his journey, Josh cycled in temperatures as high as 42C and as low as -27C. He also learnt Russian!

I went to Somerset to see Josh for the podcast. He kindly got back on his bike for me and we cycled to a reservoir to record it.

I wanted to hear more about his extraordinary journey, why he feels most comfortable outdoors and how the adventure has impacted his life now! You’ll find Josh Day on Instagram @cyclingfordays

I hope you enjoy the podcast - and don’t forget to listen out for the tips from Josh about how to plan a big outdoors adventure as well as the sounds of nature at the end of the podcast - I absolutely love this week’s sound.

Please rate, review and subscribe to the podcast if you like listening - and feel free to spread the word to your family and friends!
