This episode is a discussion about two of our seven sense that they didn't teach us in school! We are learning how Bryce's Proprioception (Muscle) and Vestibular (Movement) Senses are contributing to our current autistic behavior concerns. Our diet changes have removed the fog and INCREASED his movement! We are learning ways to help regulate these sense to keep him safe and happy.  Investing in his interest for drumming is a new activity that has been great for these senses, both using many muscles with LOTS of movement. Our seven senses are explained in a parent-friendly way in the book "Adventures of the Sensokids "I've Got the Wiggles!" by Reema Naim, OTD, OTR/L. Highly recommended! Bryce is a funny, mechanical, HAPPY little guy who was diagnosed with autism at age two and is now seven years old. His pure joy makes this world a much better place! If you are enjoying the show, please take a quick moment to give us a rating and review to help other families find our podcast, too.
