In this episode, Chelsea sits down with Dr. Jane Sweeney to talk the ins and outs of a Neonatology Physical Therapy Fellowship. Dr. Sweeney was in the first group of 4 in the United States to become board certified in pediatric physical therapy, and is the founder of the Neonatology Special Interest Group of the APTA Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy. Now, Dr. Sweeney is director and practitioner on the  Neonatal Physical Therapy team in Tacoma, WA with the Franciscan Health System. We talk about the path to become a Fellow, the mentorship received during a fellowship, and how fellowships are adding to our evidence-based practice.
