In this two-part episode I start off by talking about the worst hiking injury I've ever experienced, which happened recently while backpacking the Cranberry Lake 50 in the Adirondacks. I talk about what went wrong, what we can do to learn from it... and how much it sucked. Here's a link to the video of my hike: https://youtu.be/ggwHwgPtF7w

In part 2, the wonderful Trail Tales editor and thru hiker Rose "Comics" Turner is back for a conversation about her experience as an Appalachian Trail shuttle driver, as well as some (rare) sketchy characters that have been on the AT this year.
