William is a black man, from suburban D.C., he has been the head of design for prestigious fashion houses but he never quite was given the opportunities that are usually afforded to someone of his professional caliber. William and Ingrid reminisce about their fashion days as peers and confidentes, how she felt was a white privileged women, torn and saddened by the racist micro aggressions that existed in the fashion industry then and still exist now.
