Leo Strauss was a great man and a great political philosopher. That is why the American Political Science Association made an award in his name to be distributed for exemplary dissertations each year. To nobody’s surprise, APSA is spitting on Strauss’ legacy by handing out the award to whatever woksester writes the best ethnography.
