Happy New Year! 🎉

We hope you've been enjoying the holidays like we have and spent a lot of time (virtual or in-person) with family and friends.  We certainly did.  In fact, I think we had more fun and ate more sweets than we did this past Halloween. 🎃

Anyways, time for another review... and we chose a game we've been playing for about a month.  FLAG WARS! â›łïž  It's basically a 'Capture the Flag' type game that was a remake of StickMasterLuke's version (maker of 'Natural Disaster' btw) that's everything you want out of a team-play FPS.  I enjoy it because it reminds me of my old gaming days of Quake, Counterstrike, Unreal Tournament, etc.  Alden just likes the 'Spaz'. 😁

The run-time is a bit long on this episode, as we covered three full rounds of playing AND included some trivia about Brazil (for those of you listening from the region).  We learned a lot and had a lot of fun recording this one.

And by request, here's a shortlist of the background music that was used for this episode:

Carol of the Bells - Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Christmas Time is Here - Vince Guaraldi Trio

Linus and Lucy - Vince Guaraldi Trio

Unreal Tournament Soundtrack - Epic Games

In the Meantime (Instrumental)- Helmet

Give it Away (Instrumental) - Red Hot Chili Peppers

See you next time, and thanks for listening!
