Sam Clements is curating a fictional film festival. He'll accept almost anything, but the movie must not be longer than 90 minutes. This is the 90 Minutes Or Less Film Fest podcast.

In episode 61 Sam is joined by film journalist, programmer, and video essayist Leigh Singer.

Leigh has chosen Jim Jarmusch's second feature film Stranger Than Paradise (89 mins). The film won the Camera d'Or at the 1984 Cannes Film Festival, and stars John Lurie, Eszter Balint and Richard Edson.

Sam and Leigh discuss how he got into video essays, how the movie started life as a short film, and the powerful use of Screamin' Jay Hawkins.
