Alex Kingsbury spoke to Engineering Heroes about the Australian manufacturing industry.  She discusses that the industry is going through a transformation and asks the real question - what kind of manufacturing should Australia be doing? 

Australia needs to be able to compete on value, not on cost. If you could sum up where the future of manufacturing is for Australia, it will be in the creation of that high value, niche, product.
