Episode 20 of the 2020/21 season sees the red’s Gary and Phil reflect upon one of Liverpool’s toughest weeks in recent memory, which saw them lose their 68 game unbeaten run at Anfield to a stubborn Burnley side, before crashing out of the FA Cup to rivals Manchester United. The lads discuss Liverpool’s recent slump and address the key areas of defence and attack, taking questions from listeners about the clubs lack of activity in the transfer window. Judgy then discusses Everton’s triumphant 4th round tie against Sheffield Wednesday, which saw the blues put three goals past The Owls without reply. Impressive performances from Andre Gomes and James Rodriguez in particular are lauded by Judgy, who is excited to see the blues progress to a difficult 5th round draw against a confident Tottenham Hotspur. The lads then take a question which calls for them to select a combined all time Scottish eleven from players who have represented both clubs. The show closes with both sides briefly previewing their upcoming league fixtures, which see Liverpool travelling to Tottenham on Thursday night and West Ham on Sunday, whilst Everton host high flying Leicester City on Wednesday, before addressing a potentially less troubling fixture at home in the early kick off on Saturday, against Newcastle United.
