Episode 2 of the 20/21 Season reviews the welcome return of Premier League Football. The show kicks off with a review of Liverpool's entertaining 4-3 win at home to newly promoted Leeds. There is plenty to ponder for Gary and Phil but the lads focus on the positives of a Salah hat trick and the positive impact that a frenetic 90 minutes of competitive Football will have on Klopp's side. Edgy and Millsy then review Everton’s 1-0 victory away at Spurs, a victory lauded by the blues, bringing to an end a run of 40 away games without a win against the traditional top 6 sides. Judgy and Mills are left licking their lips following the performances of the 3 new signings and Judgy also reserves praise for the likes of Digne, Gomes and Pickford who seemed to raise their games on Sunday. The optimism then rolls into the lads previewing the upcoming Carabao Cup game against Salford with Millsy looking for some players to be put in the shop window to potentially pave the way for a move for Wilfried Zaha, much to the excitement of Judgy. Everton’s home game against newcomers West Brom is then previewed with both Judgy and Millsy tipping another 3 points for the blues before Liverpool’s tough assignment away to Chelsea is previewed. It’s a game with an extra edge due the public war of words between the two bosses and both Gary and Phil are wary of the new look Chelsea but both feel as though the reds will have enough for them to to come out on top, just in slightly different fashion. The lads round off the show by sharing the code for the ATP Fantasy Football league (wy8p78).
