Jack Flaherty had one of the most dominant stretches in baseball history in 2019. Since then, he's shown flashes of brilliance but has been unable to put together his ace repertoire for a whole season. He shouldn't be doubted, but it should be recognized it's time for him to be an ace for 30-32 starts.
Also, this starting staff has some upside to it with Adam Wainwright, Steven Matz, Miles Mikolas and Dakota Hudson all having opportunities for success.
