This week Ashwin is joined by Varun and DJ to discuss the ongoing New Zealand v India test match (India trail NZ by 39 runs at the time of recording with six wickets still standing). They discuss team selection (opener/keeper/spinner) and the fallout of Ishant Sharma’s jetlag. They also discuss Kyle Jamieson’s dream debut and try and analyse India’s inability to wipe out the tail. Finally, they all indulge in some crystal ball gazing into days 4 and 5 of the first test.

The second half is a superb chat with Snehal Pradhan, ex-India cricketer and broadcaster who is currently in Australia covering the T20 world cup. Ashwin speaks to Snehal about her own cricketing journey, her role models and the growth of women’s cricket around the world. They discuss the favourites for the T20 crown and take a detailed look at Team India’s chances at the women’s T20 World Cup in Australia.
