Here in the west, there is always talk of the soon to happen rapture or the mark of the beast when things start to happen over in Israel. That's because many today believe that the Israel existing today is the same Israel that existed in the Bible. Even more, is the belief that God has two distinct groups of people, Israel and the Church. This causes much confusion for people, especially when it concerns "end times" events. But is this what God's Word teaches? To find out we have to understand Israel Biblically and see how that is applied and interpreted through the whole Bible.
