In this episode we are joined by long-time radio broadcaster, Steve Winslow, who started in the Boston area and is now in Atlanta. We had a great time hearing about Steve's initial foray into radio and how it led him to one of the biggest stations in the country. One area we all discussed was the slow rise in whatever job you have. It's important to learn how to do all the jobs you can, not just one. It will make you more valuable and you will appreciate it more when bigger successes come your way. As we wrapped up the interview, Steve is looking to the next challenge in life, whatever that might be. As he calls it, he is now an unrestricted free-agent and the world is at his fingertips.

MOVIES/STREAMING:

Walt is watching the final season of The Good Place on Netflix. He is trying to get into Letterkenny, but it's been tough going in the first few episodes. Steve admits he's behind on shows, but is just now wrapping up the final season of The Big Bang Theory. His family just had a movie night where they watched the classic, The Princess Bride. Steve said his son's girlfriend was over and had never seen it before. He said it was so much fun to see someone's reaction, seeing the film for the first time. Finally, Steve is finding it fun to watch sports on television while there are no fans in the stands. Alan is now a couple of episodes into season three of Longmire. He is also continuing his way through season 6 of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

READING:

Walt finally got his copy of, "Is This Something?" by Jerry Seinfeld. He is also continuing his reading of Michael Connelly’s, “The Black Echo.” Steve is reading, "The Trolley Problem - or, Would You Throw the Fat Guy Off the Bridge?" Alan is reading, "Learned Optimism: How to Change Your Mind and Your Life," by Martin E.P. Seligman. He mentioned the positivity show he does with two others on 60MW Podcast and that book seemed right up his alley. He is still spending a lot of time reading news and staying abreast on current events.

LISTENING:

Walt did a shout out to The Marine Corps Movie Minute as well as ABCD:TOS. Steve said he has been catching up on episodes of The Wilder Ride!
