I watched the live Mars landing last week, excited to see a rocket touchdown, live, on the red planet.Instead, I was underwhelmed.The live stream only showed an animation of the landing, not the real thing, and some reaction shots from NASA personnel.It's not that landing on Mars isn't super cool -- it is! It's just that I've been spoiled by SpaceX, who provide awesome livestreams of everything they do, and always put on such a good show.
