Summary: Mario Kart Tour scored 10.1 million downloads on day 1, which breaks the previous record of 6.7 mil held by Pokemon Go. Mario Run also had 4.7 million on day 1, so this isn’t necessarily indicative of long-term success, but it certainly does point in its general direction. Furthermore, Mario Run had 200k downloads on the same day, which is a 36% increase, meaning it’s having a positive impact outside of just Mario kart Tour. Also - Daniel Ahmad mentioned that Google Play shows 10m for that platform alone, so it’s probably actually closer to 20 mil.

“HORI has announced a new Mario Kart Racing Wheel accessory for Switch. It will come in two versions: a standard release and a more expensive DX version.
This new accessory works with both the Switch and PC. Functions from the Switch controller have been migrated over to the new device, and even comes with a foot pedal. While it only works in docked mode, it’s compatible with other modes and the Switch Lite through an extra USB accessory.
With the hold button, you can have an item held behind you. Players can choose to assign the different buttons as they please as well. There’s also “deadzone adjustment” and “reality adjustment” with seven different levels for adjusting turning radius so you can set it to your liking. The DX edition throws in suction cups and clamps.”
