Today on Feminine Roadmap we’re talking about how to thrive in spite of the cards you’re dealt with Laura Berg. Laura is a professor and trained therapist who allowed her own history of abuse and trauma to empower her to help others. She shares practical tools to stop victimizing yourself, deal with rejection and set healthy limits in relationships. Laura acknowledges that victimhood is a valid place to be but it’s key to get to the place where it is no longer defining your life. One of her strategies is to define what happiness is to you and begin to write your life toward joy. Our ideas of happiness can change as we grow and heal but understanding what that means today is a great starting point. Another way to thrive is to learn to set boundaries in our relationships with friends, romantic partners and even family members. Laura reminds us that while we may have been dealt a tough hand of cards, if we do nothing to change , nothing happens so we must take that first step to freedom. A great first step is to grab a cuppa something wonderful and listen to this empowering conversation. Join us! Please do us a favor and subscribe, rate, and share this podcast. Thank you!
