George Elek is joined by oddschecker tipster Andy Holding and racing broadcaster Ed Quigley to look ahead to the weekend's action on Ebor week at York.

Starting with Friday's card the guys take a look at the opening handicap with 19 set to go to post at the time of writing. An open field as you'd expect Juan De Montalban heads the betting at a best price of 8/1 alongside Cormier at the same price. Ed and Andy agree you could make a case for 6 or 7 to win this one with Ed keen on a 20/1 shot.

The Lonsdale Cup follows which once again sees Trueshan and Stradivarius go head-to-head with the former a 2/1 shot and the veteran the 6/4 favourite with the ground possibly in his favour this time. Andy is happy to take the pair on with Coltrane an e/w bet with 8 going to post presently.

The feature on the day is the Nunthorpe Stakes with Royal Aclaim a best price of 2/1 ahead of 4/1 shot The Platinum Queen.

On Saturday we've got the Ebor as the feature on the card with Earl Of Tyrone a 6/1 favourite in an open field. Gaassee, Okita Soushi and Ever Present follow closely behind in the betting with Frankie Dettori on board 14/1 shot Trawlerman.

The City of York Stakes at 3pm also catches the eye with Jumby, Al Suhail, Rohaan, Kinross, Sandrine and Sacred all entered.
