Across the country, medicolegal officials have begun to organize “Missing Persons Day” events to help families submit new cases or add to old case files, in hopes of both finding the missing and identified Doe victims; we speak to the organizers of a brand-new event in Dekalb County, GA, where a new grant has made advanced DNA testing possible, and the founder of long-running Missing in Michigan about how officials can better serve families of the missing and close more cold cases.
