Clinton Maynard speaks with Marketing Expert Jessie Weatherley, about Aussie businesses being advised to invest in social media, with many of them paying experts hundreds or thousands of dollars a month to create and run content, but ultimately being disappointed with lackluster results.

Ms Weatherley says social media wasn’t designed for business, and there are few business categories that consumers want to actively engage with on social media.

Businesses can still drive results through social media, but they need to look at it through a different lens and adjust their expectations of how it will help their business.
