The dust has settled on a hastily-assembled All-Star game in Atlanta at the mid-point of the 2020-21 NBA season, with the Celtics star wings having made some noise in the annual exhibition after turning around a spate of ill fortune heading into the break. But what does the coming second act of the season hold for the Celtics, who dive into it about as hard as one can with a match against Atlantic Division rival Brooklyn Nets this Thursday? Will the center hold, or will they take another nosedive in the standings? Is it worth going all-in on using the team's massive traded player exception (TPE) now if the Nets are an immovable object in their path to the Finals? To get an outside perspective on these questions as well as some answers on just how much better Brooklyn might be with the addition of Blake Griffin over the break, we brought in some expert opinion. Off the Glass head honcho and "Brooklyn Buzz" podcast founder Nick Fay joins us this episode, and we got down to brass tacks on what both teams can expect in the East's second half. Join hosts Cam Tabatabaie and Alex Goldberg as they cover all things post All-Star 2021 on this episode of the Celtics Lab.
