Danar has been on my radar ever since I got a look at his work back in 2017. He had recently joined the ranks of One Pixel Brush and had been producing amazing work. Outside of that however Danar had been publishing works that were making most 2D artists as "how?" his process of blending 2D, 3D, photos and textures made us all wonder if there was some sort of magic behind it. Thankfully I got the opportunity to sit down with Danar and talk about where he started and how his different industry gigs led him to this amazing style he now uses daily. We of course broke down his process and approach to working on The Last of Us Part 2 and what his feelings were while tackling such an ambitious project.
