On today's episode, Matt and Big Dave break down back to back weekend wins over the Pelicans and Pistons, improving to a 3-0 start to the season. In their home opener, the United Center crowd was treated to endless highlight-reel plays, with Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso and Javonte Green shining on fastbreak scores. Lonzo Ball had a turnover-less triple double against his former team, while Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan continued to pick their spots to take over offensively. But these wins were also further evidence that - while acknowledging a lack of star par from opponents - the Bulls are engaged and focused on the defensive end. Nikola Vucevic looks more comfortable on that end than he did last season, and is contributing to the team's takeaways with his active hands. Caruso and Ball are also locked in, and their defensive focus is rubbing off on the rest of the team.
